IT’S GOOD STUFF!!

Drummer Eron Bucciarelli tells Alternative Press in an official statement:

The story takes place in 2017 — or so THEY would like you to believe. In reality, the year is 2015. The people know little, they’re angry, and they know something isn’t right; that they’ve been lied to! Life used to be so nice, they used to be kids – driving around with friends, listening to music – no cares in the world. And as bad as things would sometimes get back then, they are nothing in comparison to what the people are experiencing now. This is only the tip of the iceberg. To delve deeper into the story, you’ll have to delve deeper into ‘Zero’.

He goes on to say that the concept behind the album is an account of a dystopian future as seen through the eyes of the main character, Baker. The tracklisting follows the timeline of the events of a world taken over by a major corporation in the wake of major disaster.

“Zero”, Hawthorne Heights‘ fifth studio album release is due to be released June 25th. Pre-orders are available through a pledge system on the Hawthorne Heights Facebook page.

During their recording sessions, A Skylit Drive worked with Jim Wirt (Hoobastank, Alien Ant Farm) and Cameron Mizell (produced music from Woe, Is Me, Memphis May Fire, Oceana).

Recording is scheduled to end in June and the album will be released through Tragic Hero Records.
